AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, announced that Hezbollah has been informed by the Iranian ambassador in Beirut that Tehran's diplomatic efforts to establish a complete ceasefire in Lebanon with the Israeli enemy have reached an advanced stage and are set to begin tonight.
Fadlallah stated in an interview with Reuters, "Iran is awaiting the extent of Washington's commitment to its obligations in this regard, especially since U.S. President Donald Trump has pledged to communicate this decision to the President of Lebanon and the Prime Minister of the enemy."
He added, "This matter still depends on the extent of the enemy's commitment and the cessation of all forms of hostile actions. The Iranian side is following up on this matter hour by hour to bring it to fruition, because the negotiations with the United States are directly linked to the cessation of aggression against Lebanon."
Responding to a question about the next stage, Fadlallah said, "The first stage is the establishment of a ceasefire, and I ask citizens to wait for its implementation, especially in the remaining hours until it begins."
He also called on the people to exercise utmost caution, especially in front-line towns that Israeli forces have occupied, although the people of these areas have a great desire to return to their homes.
